Mandarin Orange Dark Chocolate Bar with Crushed Almonds
This mouth-watering combination of citrus and dark chocolate is addicting!
We start with dried mandarin orange slices and whole, raw almonds on a cutting board. The two ingredients are repeatedly cut, smaller and smaller, until they eventually blend into one mixture.
The chocolate we use for this bar is a Burgundy Dark, a favorite amongst our customers for its sweet taste, fruity flavor notes and distinctive reddish cast. To brighten the flavor even more, we incorporate real orange oil into the dark chocolate, then blend in the well-crushed orange slices & almonds.
