This is an incredible flavor combination that originates from the Middle East and is enjoyed all throughout the region. As a dessert, the tahini is spread into a thin layer on a plate and then molasses (usually grape molasses) is spiraled over it and people dip in with crackers, cookies or bread.
This candy bar is inspired from this combination and although it is very simple, you'll get an absolute taste explosion. The candy bar filling is tahini that we make from toasted sesame seeds and a layer of molasses. We also add some whole sesame seeds for a delicate crunch layer.
