Inspired by the famous peanut balls made in Ohio, these Buckeyes are larger and packed with flavor. Ground peanuts, real butter and just the right amount of sweetness make up the centers of these incredible confections. The center is dense, yet fluffy, and finishes with just a touch of salt.
The dough is made in a mixer and then rolled by hand into frames. Each piece is then cut and gently formed to a tall rectangle. Each piece is then coated in our semi-sweet 61% dark chocolate. Even for milk chocolate lovers, this chocolate is delicate and not at all bitter. It is a really nice complement to the peanut butter filling.
Finally, the pieces are striped to give them that sophisticated look that you'd expect from such a quality confection.

Awesome flavor
First time buyer.. and I loved the Buckeyes. Incredible, rich chocolate covers a light but robust peanut butter center. The quality of the ingredients are evident and I’m VERY appreciative of the fact that the peanut butter tastes like peanuts and not confectioners sugar. It’s rich in flavor but not overly sweet. Loved them!
I have a weakness for anything chocolate and peanut butter. This candy is so good.

Chocolate is creamy and buttery. Wonderful chocolate taste is sweet and smooth. Peanut butter filling is the best we have ever experienced. BUT, these buckeyes are not seperate tastes of coating and filling. They are a unique BLEND resulting in one combined special taste.
Yes, I know a buckeye is round. But the square shape of these special buckeyes prevents the uneven thickness of hot chocolate trying to coat a "ball".
These buckeyes provide a uniform thickness of delicious buttery chocolate in all sides.

The peanutbutter flavor was nice, but the chocolate itself was soft and mushy. I'm not sure if this was intentional or if the temper was off on this batch, but itnwould have been nice to have some snap to the chocolate, or at least have them not melt before on my fingers before I could finish one. That being said the flavor was nice
What's happening is that the peanut oil is seeping into the chocolate. The 'solution' to that problem is to stabilize the peanut oil and everyone does this by adding hydrogenated vegetable oil. It's the way that JIF peanut butter never separates. I am trying to stick with natural peanut butter so that's why I'm fighting this problem. It's a delicate balance between moist flavorful peanut centers and snappy chocolate. Usually I do better, but that's what's really happening here. I'm going to send you another box!
Excellent flavor, exquisite design, exceptional chocolate
These buckeyes are my absolute favorite. I like that they are big enough to share (if you are so inclined).The texture and flavor are outstanding. Warning: don’t just buy one box.
Finely crafted and absolutely beautiful, these buckeyes are so good they make you wonder if Ohio State should reconsider being named after something this delicious. Each bite is a delight—the gentle snap of chocolate giving way to a smooth, supple peanut butter center. They’re indulgent in the best way and have me rethinking more than a few things.
