Halal-Friendly

This collection includes chocolates that we make without ingredients we know to be prohibited under common halal dietary guidelines. Specifically, we do not use gelatin derived from pork to make our marshmallow.  We also don't use alcohol-based vanilla extracts--we are using actual vanilla beans with no additives/extractions.  Any product that includes shellac would be excluded.

These products are not Halal Certified, and our kitchen is not a certified halal production facility. Because individual dietary practices and interpretations may differ, we want to be very upfront about this and let you make your own informed choices.
